Kelsey Granberry, Founder and owner of Admiral Title, LLC, is passionate about moving real estate transactions smoothly and timely to closing and funding. His philosophy is to do what it takes to get your request finalized, while completing the details to provide marketable title to the property.
Kelsey Granberry is a fifth generation Texan, born in Yoakum and reared in Alvin. Graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors of Business Adminstration in 1980 (Highest Honors) and a Masters od Business Adminastration in 1982, he turned his focus to a banking career.
After completing Texas Commerce Bank – Reagan’s formal credit training program, business development was the focus, working his way up to Vice President and voting member of the Senior Loan Committee.
Moving to The First National Bank in Bay City, Texas in 1988, a one office, independent bank, which transitioned to Wells Fargo Bank in 1999, Kelsey learned to adapt to change from small town banking to a multifaceted, large financial institution. Earning the title Business Banking Manager, his market included Matagorda, Wharton and South Brazoria Counties. In both 2003 and 2007, he was honored as being in the top 2% of Business Bankers, in San Diego, California.
With the changes in the banking environment, in 2012, Kelsey purchased Matagorda County Title Co., Inc. d/b/a Vintage Title, a small title agency in Rosenburg, Texas. He immediately re-opened an office in Bay City and, in 2012, moved the Rosenburg office to Richmond.
Kelsey is active in the First Baptist Church as a Sunday School teacher and Deacon. He has been a member of the Bay City Lions Club for 25 years, holding various positions of leadership. Hobbies include fishing, hunting, playing racquetball and raising livestock.
